Hi my name is Clare and I work at Subconscious Healing within my private practice as an Integrative counsellor.

I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic counsellor with a diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic counselling. I hold diplomas in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Child Behavioural Therapy, Child Psychology, Counselling Children and Adolescents, Play therapy and Animal assisted therapy.

I am a fully insured therapist, a registered member of BACP and an Accredited member with The National Counselling Society. I hold a current enhanced DBS and I am registered under the DATA protection ZA187932.


Alongside my private practice, I also work with students within a college setting seeing a huge diversity of clients, working with varying issues which include:-

I have experience of working within the Leicester Rape crisis centre, counselling individual’s dealing with the emotions of rape, sexual abuse and domestic violence, working with the traumas and effects this can entail.

I have supported and counselled families and parents within ‘Face 2 Face’ a befriending charity and New Dawn family support service, working with families living with disabilities. I have experience of working with many issues within various settings including Equine assisted therapy. These issues include self harm, addiction, suicidal thoughts, self-esteem and body image issues, depression, stress and anxiety, abusive relationships and rape, and bereavement which includes sudden and long–term illness, and family issues.

I have regular supervision which is essential as a counsellor to both ensure that I am working safely and effectively with my clients but also it is important to keep myself healthy and self-aware.
