We all know that as counsellors we run very busy lives that are further impacted by the emotional weight that counselling brings. This means taking time out of your schedule can be a big ask, even for something as essential as supervision. This means that often the most conveniant way to cover your supervision hours is to embrace technology and organise some online supervision. As a qualified supervisor I am offering you individual supervision in the comfort of your own surroundings, which allows you more flexibility to suit your busy life. Online supervision enables you to explore supervisors from further afield especially if you are struggling to find the supervision to fit your therapeutic approach within your location.

What is online supervision like?
You will be sat in the comfort of your chosen place, logging into the secure video conferencing, Zoom, or Skype. It is your responsibility that you are in a comfortable and confidential setting with good sound. What you will gain in supervision sessions from me will be just as effective as my traditional ‘therapy room’ supervision.

Will my supervisor be qualified and insured?
By choosing Subconscious Healing online, you are working with a supervisor holding a Level 6 Therapeutic Supervision qualification whilst also a qualified integrative counsellor. I am insured and also hold up to date professional membership with the BACP and the National Counselling Society.

How will supervision work?
Once you have made initial contact via email, text or telephone to discuss your supervision needs, we will book a FREE initial consultation. If you wish to continue with supervision you will be sent a supervision contract via email which will be jointly signed. We will then commence to book your supervision session.

Prior to each session :-

• You agree to pay by bacs or paypal for your session 24hrs in advance.
• You are ready for the video call on the time agreed for your session.
• The call will be confidential and exclusively yours.
• The session will last no more that 90 minutes.
• Towards the end of each session you will be given time to arrange your following session.
• Supervision is confidential and each call is taken in a confidential setting.
• Fees – £55.00 per 90 minute session.
• Supervision will not take place without a signed contract. You are required to hold up to date public liability insurance, whilst being a member of an appropriate professional body.

I work with both trainee and qualified counsellors to offer you support with your client work, personal development and your management. By offering supervision in an Integrative model, I am able to support your ethical practice, your client work and ensure that you are working within your own professional limits.

I provide practical, ethical and personal support to counsellors and support workers in the management of your practice by working together to manage your case load, professional development and the ethical difficulties that will arise in the work that we do.

I have experience in many varied settings that I bring to your supervision sessions such as working within a college setting, working with teenagers and young people. Working with individuals with emotional, behavioural and special educational needs, rape crisis and domestic violence victims and families living with disabilities. I have experience of working with children and young people within the care system. I also work with children and young people within the pre-court system offering counselling, whilst working within an organisation offering counselling.

I have experience of working with supervisees within the above areas of the above and including, children and young people within the school environment, LGBT, Rape crisis, Adults with disabilities to name a few.
